Pearl Savarimuttu

Hello! My name is Pearl Savarimuttu. I have been with the Hayward Unified School District for nine years. During my tenure, I have worked at the Special Education Preschool and Adult School. Now, I am delighted to be a member of the Hayward High School community! My main task will be making sure that our students’ data is up-to-date and accurate in our school database.

HOW MAY I ASSIST YOU?

These are some of the things I am responsible for:

• Manage and monitor student data in Infinite Campus school information system.
• Add or update student information: households, schedules, transcripts, grades, courses and sections.
• Process Online Registration, create/modify households.
• Ensure that grades are properly entered by teachers into the system during grading windows.
• Write ad hoc reports to query student demographics, schedules, courses, or grades.
• Build, design and balance the master schedule according to principal's specifications. Design the master schedule to accommodate the maximum loading and the least possible conflicts.
• Backup the school registrar in his/her absence (enrollment and withdrawal procedures).
• Assist counselors, teachers, staff, and others in accessing data in the student information system.
• Upload student data and GPAs for Cal Grants.
