Hello, my name is Rick Charles, I am the Entrepreneurship Pathways teacher at Hayward High School. In addition to my school responsibilities I serve as the Lead Teacher for NFTE (Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship) My goal for my students is to help them discover and prepare for a successful and meaningful career. Throughout the year my students will have the opportunity to meet professionals from a wide spectrum of businesses and engage in a variety of Work Based Learning opportunities. Students will also have the opportunity to earn three units of college credit by completing the course with a letter grade of B or higher. Students can also earn an additional ten semester units by participating in our Work Experience program.
